Use Liquid Rubber

This is a waterproofing paint that protects wood, steel & aluminum from the corrosive effects of water, sun & salt water.

Heat, humidity and UV rays are extremely harsh on exposed surfaces like roof/rooftop areas on a house boat.

Any building or structure with continual exposure to the harsh exterior weather will degrade over time and without protection will deteriorate.

Liquid Rubber waterproofing paint creates an effective water proof barrier that is easy to apply and very cost effective.

We have many customers using Liquid Rubber for houseboats and other marine projects.

Two of our recent customers have kindly sent in photos after their completing projects.

Testimonial: Western Australia

One of our DIY Waterproofing customers recently used Liquid Rubber to repair and maintain a leaking roof on his houseboat. (photo opposite).

" I have a houseboat and had an issue with the roof leaking and used your product “liquid Rubber” to fix the problem. Once the rubber had dried I place carpet over the top. This made the roof better to walk on and left a nice finish."

Another Houseboat Testimonial : The Evangeline Echuca Murray River

" Hi Paul, Thankyou for your advice and the bandage which we have put to use. We have found Liquid Rubber to be a very easy product to use on our paddleboat roof and upper deck. We are now looking forward to rain so that we can test your product and put the bucket chandeliers away! I have attached three photographs to this email of our paddleboat Evangeline. I will send you more photos of Evangeline with the painted trim, completed roof and decks when finished. Your product has created a lot of interest in the boatyard and we have passed on your details to several boat owners."

Thanking You - Jackie and Gary Walsh.

How to apply Liquid Rubber:

First of all the surfaces need to be thoroughly cleaned and all loose debris removed.

For more information about how to prepare the surface before applying Liquid Rubber - Read More Here.

Then critical places like the seams and roof outlets/penetrations should be treated with a 3-layer seal:

Apply first layer of Liquid Rubber

Layer of Geotextile bandage

Apply 2second layer Liquid Rubber.

In this way, all joins will be watertight.

Even though in the video above the bandage is being applied on a balcony the principle is exactly the same.

Now it is easy to paint and/or roll on three thin coats of Liquid Rubber to achieve completely seamless and waterproof surface.

Your roof or surface will be water tight and aesthetically pleasing as well - a new lease of life.
